Maximilian Paul, a young German driver, has been making strides in the world of motorsport. The Paul Motorsport team, based in Saxon, Germany, has been instrumental in supporting Maximilian’s career. After scoring a remarkable victory at the Nurburgring last year with Grasser Racing, Maximilian’s dream of a full-time DTM entry has finally come true.
Despite his incredible achievement at the Nurburgring, Maximilian Paul has only participated in six races across three rounds in the DTM. His experience in the series is still quite limited, but he is eager to make the most out of every lap on the track. With just two race starts under his name, Maximilian has a lot to prove in the upcoming 2024 DTM season.
Paul Motorsport’s decision to enter Maximilian in the DTM instead of the GT Masters series was motivated by sponsorship from car parts manufacturer Meyle. This new partnership has opened up doors for Maximilian to showcase his talents on a bigger stage. With ambitious plans for the future, Paul Motorsport is set to field a single-car entry in the DTM, while also committing to a two-car attack in the ADAC’s second-tier series.
The 2024 DTM season is shaping up to be an exciting one, with Lamborghini potentially becoming the most represented manufacturer on the grid with five entries. Both Grasser Racing and SSR Performance are set to field two cars each, adding to the competitive landscape of the series. On the other hand, Mercedes has decided to scale down its involvement in the DTM, reducing its presence to four cars from six last year.
As the 2024 DTM season approaches, Maximilian Paul and Paul Motorsport are gearing up for the challenges that lie ahead. The season, under the aegis of the ADAC, will kick off at Oschersleben and feature a total of eight rounds across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Maximilian is determined to make a name for himself in the highly competitive world of DTM racing, and with the support of his family-run team, he is ready to take on whatever comes his way.
